Alpha male VS Beta male

I know my dad used to laugh at the idea of metrosexuality. He couldn’t understand the concept at all till he sees a real-life example, living the life of a metrosexual.

Males who believe that guys are rough on the edges and rough on the inside too (no showing of emotions) are the classic Alpha male. Kinda like my dad who knows all the skills guys are supposed to know. And then we have the beta male who is a metrosexual

What is a metrosexual?

Definitely a male who is in touch with his feminine side. NOT an effiminate male. A male who takes care of his skin (like a gerl), takes care of his outlook (like a vain gerl) and probably goes for facials, spas, manicures and pedicures.

If you were to have a fren, bf or even husband who has metrosexuality tendencies, how would you feel?

Personally, I don’t really care. They are just very vain males who takes care of themselves. They definitely are not effiminate or homosexual. They just have some tendencies to pamper themselves the way most females do. I think it’s kind of nice to have a known male in your life to be a metrosexual cos you probably have more topics of discussion or sharing sessions. Males should not be limiting or denying themselves from these methods of pampering jsut cos they are scared to be labelled as too ‘gay’. Cos regardless of gender, we should be allowed to pamper our physical selves, take care of our body (not only by hitting the gym or gulping tonnes of protein shakes) and appear the best we can be. There is definitely nothing wrong for a male to dress up to the nines in well manicured fingers, freshly-pressed clothes and neatly-combed hair. It just demonstrates positive self-concept.

BUT there is definitely something wrong when a male is buffing his nails twice a week. Have more facial products than their sister. Takes longer time in the bathroom. Needs probably an hour to iron their clothes. AND worse! shop more than I do. Let me tell you, my main skill is to shop and shop…

So guys, dun be afraid to embrace your feminine side BUT jus don’t be effiminate or go to the extreme of metrosexuality

Males should learn to have positive self-esteem to wear pink. Cos ANYONE would look good in pink.. Trust me… im definitely making my dad wear pink real soon…
